Rise of the Fallen (Blood Line)

Background:

A priest that has spent all his life worshipping the lord, but when he needed him most at the time of his family’s murder, the lord did not do anything to help so after many years of worship he decided to go the other way and give his soul to the devil. He vowed to find the cave of the devil and make a deal with him.

He wanted the rest of the world to feel the pain of losing someone they loved, he wanted the world to be consumed with rage, to bring the demons of hell onto earth. He wanted to start the end of days.

After many years looking for the devil’s cave, he found it deep in the rainforest; it was a strange and unexplored cavern.

He climbed down a rope about 200 feet to a ledge where the shaft narrowed to a point that could only be crawled through, he continued to crawl into the darkness until he saw a light which led into an opening. When he got into this opening he saw the web.

The priest got on his knees and got a spearhead out of his wet bag and used it to cut the web. This spearhead was the one that was found many years ago in Jerusalem and is said to be the spear that was used on Jesus at his crucifixion. The priest had taken this item from a Chapel in Rome.

Only a blade stained with the blood of an angel could cut the web. Although the web was cut the devil still was trapped. So a deal was made. He would give the priest his family back as long as he followed his instructions to the letter. These instructions were that the priest use some of the devil’s blood and mix it with the blood of an innocent who would then sacrifice him or herself.

Over the next 7 issues the heroes will be introduced and, with the help of Wolfdog the keeper of man, they will stop the end of days.
